Code of a Teacher

- You must be ready with your homework for each class. Otherwise you will get a bad mark.
- If you miss the class, you will have to bring a note from your parents or a sick note from the doctor.
- You are not allowed to speak simultaneously with the teacher. If you want to say something, raise your hand.
- You will be have an opportunity to rewrite each final test if you’ve got a bad mark.
- All new words, which you have come across doing your homework, must be translated and pronounced correctly.
- Each lesson 5 of you will be given cards with 1 or 2 exercises and 5-7 minutes to finish the task.
- You’re going to write vocabulary tests quite often. Your task is to learn all the words but you can do it any way you like. So it’s up to you whether to write glossary or not. I’m going to check only your knowledge.
These are general requirements. However, there will be specific ones concerning certain tasks I’m going to give you.

Which is better: a secure future or  a life full of exciting experiences?
Sad as it is, it is important to realize that we live only once. So why don’t we do our best to suck out all the marrow of life! There are a great number of things around us, most of which are worth trying. It doesn’t mean only or necessarily leaving your home and hiking somewhere though it will definitely bring a lot into one’s life: new places, people, experiences, something you might have never come across before. You will have an opportunity to see the real beauty of the nature which we often don’t notice or don’t pay much attention to as living in big cities we are always busy constantly ploughing through our problems. Then again, every new activity may turn into an adventure, it all depends on the person him/herself, his/her initiative, creativity, desire to develop skills and so on.
On the other hand, people who prefer secure future are likely to realize one day looking back on the past that their life was grey and boring, they have few memorable moments, almost nothing to tell their grandchildren about. On such a ground arises disappointment and depression, feelings no-one looks forward to. But it’s too late to regret. But it seems to me that such people tend to be more loving and caring than reckless ones, they feel responsibility for the members of their families.
As for me, I would prefer to steer a middle course and not to go to extremes. I would like some exciting, interesting events and experiences to interchange with calmness in my life.
